About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Daniel Marc Consulting Limited (trading as The Elite Sheet, Company No. 11698213) and any business purchasing an advertising slot on The Elite Sheet. By confirming your slot and making payment, you agree to these terms.

The specific details of your placement — including the price, number of homes reached, geographic area and edition — are those communicated to you directly as part of your individual invitation. These terms apply alongside and in addition to those specific details.

The Service

The Elite Sheet is a premium printed card featuring a curated selection of local businesses, one from each trade category, delivered by Royal Mail to households in a defined local area. Each edition is specific to a geographic area and a defined number of homes.

Your slot entitles you to one advertisement on the card, designed by us to your approval, printed and distributed as part of that edition. No competing business from the same trade category will appear on the same card.

Payment

Payment is required in full before your slot is confirmed and before print production begins. Your slot is not secured until payment has been received. We will confirm receipt of payment in writing.

The price for your slot is as stated in the communication you received from us. Prices may vary between editions and geographic areas.

Ad Design and Approval

We will design your advertisement using the information, logo and assets you provide. We will send your design to you for review and approval before anything goes to print. No changes can be made after you have given written approval.

We ask that you respond to design proofs within 5 working days. Delays in approval may affect your edition’s print and delivery schedule. We accept no liability for delays caused by late approval.

Delivery

We guarantee that the edition of The Elite Sheet featuring your advertisement will be delivered to the number of homes and geographic area communicated to you at the time of your invitation, via Royal Mail’s door drop service.

Delivery is carried out by Royal Mail and is subject to their standard service terms. While we take every reasonable step to ensure accurate and timely distribution, we cannot be held responsible for delays or issues arising from Royal Mail’s operations.

What We Do Not Guarantee

We do not guarantee any specific level of response, enquiry, call volume or commercial return from your advertisement. The effectiveness of any advertising depends on many factors outside our control, including consumer behaviour and the nature of your business.

Refunds and Cancellations

Once payment has been received and your slot confirmed, it is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel before giving design approval, we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis but are under no obligation to issue a refund.

Once you have approved your advertisement design, no cancellations or refunds can be issued under any circumstances, as print production will have been committed.

If we are unable to fulfil your slot for any reason attributable to us, we will offer either a full refund or a place on the next available edition at no additional cost.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that any information, imagery and content you provide for your advertisement is accurate, lawful and does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights. By supplying content to us, you confirm that you have the right to use it and grant us permission to reproduce it in print and digital formats for the purposes of producing your advertisement.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any placement shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that placement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from your participation in The Elite Sheet.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Third Party Businesses

The businesses featured on The Elite Sheet are independent third parties. We are not affiliated with, employed by, or agents of any business featured on the card. Our selection process is based on publicly available reviews, reputation and the standard of work at the time of selection.

We make no guarantee as to the quality, safety, legality or suitability of any work carried out by a featured business. Any contract for services entered into between a homeowner and a featured business is solely between those two parties. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury or dispute arising from work carried out by a featured business.

The inclusion of a business on The Elite Sheet does not constitute a warranty, endorsement or recommendation of any specific job, quote or outcome. We encourage homeowners to carry out their own due diligence before engaging any tradesperson.
